« A WARM WELCOME... and more! »

The SPORT & ATTITUDE tournaments, along with UNESCO, also offer a chance for several young players from each participating capital city, chosen on merit, to take part in the World Class Tennis Tour:
Starting this year, two young American tennis players from Washington, D.C. are invited to compete in the tournament at the Stade Francais in Paris.
In exchange, two young Parisian players will travel to Washington, D.C. in the fall for the premier US edition of the WCTT.

Operation 1,000 Kids!

From July 6-10, more than 1,000 kids from Paris and Fontenay-aux-Roses were invited to the Stade Francais for a day of tennis, basketball and soccer…and to applaud the future tennis champions!

Association Perce neige

The non-profit association, Perce-Neige, was founded in 1966 by French actor and Stade Francais member, the late Lino Ventura, whose daughter was born with a mental handicap. The beloved actor used his notoriety to help the handicapped with two goals in mind: to draw attention to children “with a difference”, and to fight against discrimination towards the mentally handicapped and encourage their integration into society.

In memory of our friend and Stadiste, the late actor Lino Ventura, the tournament was honored to welcome a group from the Perce-Neige Association of Sevres on July 9 and 10.

"Fete le Mur" at the BNP Paribas Cup...

The Fete le Mur association was present for the tournament’s 20th Anniversary. This year, we had the honor of welcoming three supervisor-referees from Fete le Mur, the association founded by Yannick Noah. Ali Elkermani, representing Fete le Mur from Pau, and his two collaborators supervised the entire international phase of the tournament. The operation was a great success and will be repeated again next year!
