Having joined forces with UNESCO to unite sport with education and cultural awareness for the players, the Junior Ambassadors Tennis Cup offered specially designed workshops throughout the tournament. This year's UNESCO workshops promoted anti-doping, human rights, intercultural dialogue and world heritage as thematic priorities.

On behalf of the European Union, Mattius Sundholm attended the JATC to help teach the players about the newly created European Union. The overall theme of this workshop was to promote the importance of peace, prosperity and partnership, giving the players an opportunity to learn about this new entity and its impact on the world.
